Severe Chemical Hazard. Fire Risk. Carcinogenic Exposure Warning.
This DANGER – BENZENE – Highly Flammable – Cancer Causing safety label is designed to warn personnel of the presence of benzene, a highly flammable chemical and known human carcinogen. Exposure to benzene vapors may result in serious health effects, including cancer, while ignition sources may lead to fire or explosion.
This label is designed in accordance with ANSI Z535 safety sign and label guidelines to support consistent and effective hazard communication. ANSI does not approve, certify, or endorse products. Selection of the appropriate signal word, wording, and label placement must be based on a site-specific hazard assessment and remains the responsibility of the employer or facility owner.
Manufactured using industrial-grade vinyl with a permanent, high-tack adhesive, this label is engineered for demanding environments where chemical exposure, weather, and industrial wear are common. It is built for permanent indoor and outdoor installation with resistance to UV exposure, moisture, and industrial wear, ensuring long-term visibility and adhesion.
This label is intended as a supplemental safety communication tool and does not replace required training, exposure monitoring, engineering controls, personal protective equipment, or safe-work procedures. Employers remain responsible for compliance with all applicable OSHA, federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1028 (Benzene) and Hazard Communication requirements.
